Rated 4 out of 5 by Rail Trail Junkie from Well made A pretty solid unit just the right size. I have yet to run out of water between trail heads. Well insulated , easy to load up with ice. Easy to clean.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Coldbike from Could be great but... Multiple Camebak products used before, love the brand. Got a new Classic for an obstacle race this weekend. Filled the reservoir with two litres of water and laid it into my gym back. Everything got soaked, leaked like crazy. I could not fit the cap so it wouldn't leak until I took the reservoir out of the pack. I was being very careful to make sure the pack material holding the reservoir in place wasn't getting caught in the caps screw mechanism. Still just poured. I finally removed the reservoir and got it closed, eventually, so it would not leak. The screw cap mechanism seems to be very finicky. I pulled out my other two Camelbak reservoirs and filled them. The screw mechanism works easily and well. They did not leak. It is clear to see that the screw cap mechanism has been re-designed, I would suggest not very well. I am looking forward to seeing how the reservoir seals up when it is secured back into the pack. With the old screw cap in place this would have been 5/5 for a review, but sadly it isn't.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bar5719 from Great pack but does not easily seal I have used camelbak for years with no issues, this is why I purchased this one. The only issue I have is that it is difficult to get a complete seal on the cap which allows the water to leak out. .

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tutham from Older classic better! Have had a couple of Camelbak classic over the years and this last one with the 2,5 liter instead of 2 is good quality as all camelbak but unfortunately not as good as the older style. It is fiddly to get the bladder into place and often there will be a kink on the tubing inside with even more fiddling. Well in place everything is fine. Unfortunately again I often find myself using the older very worn Camelbak instead since it is lightyears easier to get everything in place.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Steve O from NO USER GUIDE My first hydration pack (very expensive) and it came with no user guide. Could not find basic operation instructions anywhere online. Does not work for cycling as the essential pocket is Useless cannot even fit my phone. It leaked all over me within a block of riding ruining my ride. I still do not know how to operate it, if it needed cleaning before first use, if it can go in the freezer, how to fill it up, if phone can go behind reservoir? Etc DO NOT BUY FOR BIKING

Rated 5 out of 5 by Djrein from Really enjoying it I'm not a hiker or anything but I get dry mouth or thirsty very easily. Im also in a hot climate, but carring my 1L bottle full of water in my hand not only hurt my wrists and felt awkward but had the effect of discoruaging me from excercising. I liked the idea of a camelbak, and I'm 100% glad I got one, I can walk until my feet hurt now and feel good about it. No going up amd down three flights of stairs into an air conditioned apt just for a sip of water anymore! For anyone considering, I hughly reccomend this. There is no issue with the functionality of the product and I find it great even though I'm not doi g serious hiking or running. Got a very good price too :) I bought the neon yellow color, which adds to my nighttime visibility which i love.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KimW from Sleek Pack for Racing This pack is awesome! I recently have done some long mtb races and having this pack saved me from dehydration. I was able to drink a lot more because I didn't have to reach for a bottle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by berunningF30 from good luck filling it without getting the pack wet The opening design on the bladder is terrible, and difficult to fill without spilling all over the entire pack.
